Cheat Engine is an open source tool designed to help you with modifying single player games running under window so you can make them harder or easier depending on your preference(e.g: Find that 100hp is too easy, try playing a game with a max of 1 HP), but also contains other usefull tools to help debugging games and even normal applications.
It comes with a memory scanner to quickly scan for variables used within a game and allow you to change them, but it also comes with a debugger, disassembler, assembler, speedhack, trainer maker, direct 3D manipulation tools, system inspection tools and more.
For new users it is recommended to go through the tutorial(The one that comes with Cheat Engine, you can find it in your programs list after installing) and at least reach step 5 for basic understanding of the usage of Cheat Engine. Click here for Tutorial.

One email for two Twitter accounts

This new experience I got some time ago, when I wanted to create a twitter account for my blog. At that moment I was confused how to create a new twitter account using the same email address.

After searching on Google, my search stopped at Scribd.com There is one document on Scribd that explain how to create a second Twitter account using the same email address. But there is one condition that must be met in order for this method successfully. Condition is ....... use Gmail. Yes, this will only work for Gmail. Luckily I use Gmail (actually I have 2 email, Yahoo and Gmail), so you can practice it immediately.

Here are the steps:

1. I assume you already have Gmail. Sign in to Gmailmu. Click the text "Create a filter" which is usually located next to the email search box. See the picture so much clearer.

2. It will appear,

In the box "To:" Fill in with yourusername+alias@ mail.com In the figure above, inscribed: aviantisr+freesoftware@gmail.com, so aviantisr is the my username, while freesoftware is the alias name. You can choose your own alias name. So the formula yourgmailusername+aliasname @ gmail.com (do not forget the "+" sign!). Then click "Next" / "Next Step"

3. (check) the option "Use these labels: "Apply the label" then on "Select a label ..." select "New label" But if the view is not unusual, your Gmail is in standard view, the option "New label" none. So you need to create a new label first.

Write the new label name, eg 'freesoftware'. The name of the label is up to you. Then click on "Create Filter". Gmail Addons aka you've finished. Now we do a test.

4. Try to send emails from your old gmail to your new Gmail. Write some words ..... just wrote: test ... test .... 123. Then send. Then look at the Inbox. In your Inbox will look submissions from "me"

5. If no.4 step is successful, then the next step to register at Twitter to stay, remember to use your aliasGmail, "yourGmailusername" + alias@gmail.com"

Library Management

calibre manages your e-book collection for you. It is designed around the concept of the logical book, i.e., a single entry in your library that may correspond to actual e-book files in several formats.

The pieces can be easily combined, using thegenerated Self-Uniting Executable, that automatically restores theoriginal file for you without requiring GUnite.

Split large text files ((server logs, CSV databases...) by number of lines or number of occurrences of a pattern.

You can let GSplit decide for the size of your pieces with the disk-spanned piecetype.

GSplit tries itself to find out the best splitting options when you select a file & destination folder.

You can determine the piece filenames using a mask. GSplit does not use the file extension to find the needed piece file (like PIE.001, PIE.002...). Your pieces can get names of your choice like DISK1.PIE, MYDOC PIECE 1.GSD, DISK001.DAT...

Unite your pieces and restore the original file directly from floppy or hard disks.You do not have to copy all pieces in a temporary folder and then run the uniting tool. SFU programs and GUnite prompt you to insert the next disk when required.

You may create custom profiles and each time directly split your files with the configuration of your choice (you do not need to set the options each time).

This prevents users accidently opening virii directly. If you have been sent a safe executable that you do need to run, then you can save it to disk and run it from there.

Interoperable.

Scribe supports importing and exporting mail, contacts and calendar events to many open formats such as MBOX, .eml (single email), vCard, vCal/iCal and CSV (comma separated variables) contacts.
